I LOVE October! Not only is my birthday this month, not only is it Autumn (the best season), but even better- It's SPOOKY SEASON. I love Halloween a ridiculous amount. Vampires, monsters, psychological mind-bending thrills, or, best of all, Ghosts. I really enjoy ghosts. I have some fantastic ghost stories from my own life, in fact, so ghosts have always been something I've been interested in.
So, when my buddy, Dipper, approached me a couple years ago about voicing in a spooky thesis film he was going to be a part of, I got kind of excited.
Dipper said the creator was looking for a voice for the title character, and he was helping audition people. He sent me the turnarounds and a short description and I fell in love.
I emailed the student in question, Paige McMorrow, and let her know I would be interested in working with her. She said she'd been following Maine Events, which Dipper and I worked on together, and that she really liked Chelsea's voice(that's me!). She sent me the synopsis, and eventually the script. To date, it is still one of my absolute FAVORITE roles. She was an excellent director, and the final result is beautiful.
So, in honor of my Birthday, and Spooky Season, and an amazing character and story, here's "Liv" by Paige McMorrow.
